Case Study
Vigilant Networks – New Identity Program
A relatively new service company, Vigilant Networks had been acquired by GenTek Inc. for their exceptional local area network (LAN) monitoring/troubleshooting technology, but the company had little recognition in the networking field and little in the way of content.
Challenge
Vigilant wanted a unique style for their content that would set them apart, clearly explain their technology, and make them look more professional/substantial in the industry served. We were to keep their logo, but everything else was to be created anew.
Solution
We developed company stationery and business cards, a web site design, trade show graphics and sales collateral that played off of the image of a 1950’s-style detective. To help make their technology more accessible to the customer, we equated it to the use of X-rays for health-related issues – allowing Vigilant to “see” into all seven OSI layers within the network to reveal any problems or poorly performing network devices. Using these graphic and copy techniques, we produced advertisements, a company brochure, market-related case studies and promotional flyers.
